Itinerary:

5:00 PM - Hotel Pickup
Start your adventure with the convenience of pickup from your San Juan hotel. Relax and enjoy a comfortable ride to Las Croabas, Fajardo, where your tour begins. Our professional guide will ensure a smooth and timely start.

6:00 PM - Arrival at Kayak Village, Las Croabas
Upon arrival at Kayak Village in Fajardo, you’ll meet your guide and receive a brief orientation. Prepare to explore the stunning mangrove channels and the bioluminescent waters of Laguna Grande.

6:30 PM - Kayaking Begins
Embark on a tandem kayak for a guided journey through the Red Mangrove Forest. As night falls, marvel at the bioluminescent plankton, Pyrodinium Bahamense, that light up the water with every stroke of your paddle. Experience the thrill of paddling through a glowing sea and learn about the region’s delicate ecosystem from your knowledgeable guide.

8:30 PM - Return to Kayak Village

9:00 PM - Departure

What to Expect:

• The tour is moderately challenging and requires a moderate physical fitness level.
• Weight limit is 240 lbs per person, with a combined maximum of 425 lbs per kayak.
• Minimum age is 6 years old. Children ages 6-13 must be accompanied by an adult in the same kayak.
• Wear comfortable clothing that can get wet, water shoes, and bring a towel and a change of clothes.
• Not recommended for those with back, neck, or joint problems, recent injuries, or pregnant travelers.

• The tour operates in low-light conditions to protect wildlife.
• A minimum of 6 participants is required for the tour to proceed.
• In case of poor weather, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.
